Dr. Bob McClung grew up in Seneca County. He completed his veterinary studies at The Ohio State University in 1976. He returned to Tiffin and began practicing with his father in a mixed animal practice. He continues to enjoy the challenges of a mixed animal practice and in the past few years has seen this expand to an area covering 6-7 counties. He has been in his current location since 2003. Since then he has overseen the acquisition of AAHA accreditation along with multiple advances in new technology to bring to his clients and their pets the latest in veterinary technology. He enjoys orthopedic surgery along with the challenges of tumor removal. He is also skilled with cosmetic ear crops and utilizes the surgical laser for these procedures.

Dr. Bob is closely involved with the technology of immuno therapy. He is currently doing research for Ramaekers Nutrtion who is a leader in the developing of products for virtually all species. The addition of these products has allowed him to have increased success in the treatments for cancer, viruses, bacteria to name a few.

He is a member of the OVMA, AAEP, AABP and is a past officer for NCOVA, He served as a delagate for 6 years to the OVMA Board. He is a member of Rotary International and serves the youth of Seneca County as Fair Veterinarian since 1976. He shares his life with his wife Jan of 40 years. They have 3 sons, and 3 grandchildren whom they enjoy very much. They also have 4 dogs, 8 cats, and numerous sheep and cattle to keep them busy.
