Dr. Elizabeth Broel is a 2005 cum laude graduate of Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced emergency and critical care medicine closely with both Dr. Meyers and Dr. Forward in Charlotte, NC.  In 2012 Dr. Broel graduated summa cum laude from the University of Charlotte with her Master of Science in Public Health degree. 

Dr. Broel’s primary interests include emergency and critical care medicine, internal medicine, infectious diseases, epidemiology, and veterinary public health. Dr. Broel serves as a guest lecturer on infectious diseases at UNC Charlotte.  In May, 2012 she served as a rabies expert for the nationally syndicated television news show “America Now”.  Dr. Broel is also currently collaborating with the animal husbandry department at the University of the Nouvelle GrandAnse in Jeremie, Haiti, to develop a working livestock production with pigs and chickens in an orphanage in Jeremie

Dr. Broel lives in Mint Hill with her husband Matt, her two dogs Bella (Black Lab) and Lucy (German Shorthaired Pointer), her cat Henry, and her horse Shane.
