Dr. Byron Garrity has two degrees, Animal Science and DVM, from LSU  and is a
lifelong resident of Natchez. Prior to his DVM degree he worked for the Mississippi
Board of Animal Health, Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries, Baton Rouge Animal Control
and Baton Rouge Zoo. There are four veterinarians in his family,a Father-in-law ,
sister-in-law and brother-in-law all in Arkansas. He has spoken and presented papers
at numerous scientific seminars and other animal illness and rescue seminars. He is
currently a member of the "MART" MS Animal Response Team, ready to assist in
emergency animal rescue and disaster situations. He also writes and performs " Your Pet Medical Moment" on cable chanel 4, a pet informercial.
