Originally from Massachusetts, Dr. Dominguez obtained her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2001 and 2002, respectively. As a lifelong dream, Dr. Dominguez pursued her veterinary career in the south. In 2009, Dr. Dominguez obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University in Alabama and completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Florida Veterinary Specialists in Tampa.

Missing the northeast (except the cold weather), Dr. Dominguez decided to join the staff at West Hills Animal Hospital. She has two cats, Eliza and Leia.
