In 1983, Dr. Holscher, and his wife, Sher, opened Airport Veterinary Clinic. Initially, the Clinic began as a 500 square foot, three-room facility, which connected to the Holscher family's home. As a result of Dr. Holscher and Sher's determination and hard work, today Airport Veterinary Clinic now employs two veterinarians, ten staff members, and is housed in a 4,000 square foot facility! Dr. Holscher is a jack of all trades! He treats animals of all sizes- from hamsters, cats and dogs to horses and cows! He also works closely with both Rose Hulman Institute of Technology and Indiana State University by reviewing their research protocols and conducting evaluations of the institutions' animal care. Dr. Holscher has developed an interest in animal reproduction, and works closely with local equine breeders and frequently uses a specially designed ultrasound for breeding. Dr. Holscher loves spending time with his wife, four daughters, their husbands, and his grandsons. He also enjoys spending time tending to his farm animals (cows, goats and chickens), and is involved in the Vigo County 4-H and Master Gardener Programs.
